This activity has been designed to be used by students alone or guided by teachers or parents. Follow the links above depending on your mission.

Norbert and Zot

Investigate the motion of a rocket that you launch and control. By controlling the acceleration and burn time, you can try to make the rocket hit the clouds. Challenge yourself to study the rocket’s motion on the Moon and planets to better understand gravity. Learn about position, velocity and acceleration.

Playing is a great way to learn. The activity is set up so you can play and observe. You can also read the web book to reinforce your exploration. With Squeak you can challenge yourself and modify the project to create a two-stage rocket. Have fun and explore.
